Genie List Europe: Venice, Ibiza, Copenhagen

I'm checking off Every city on my my European Genie List by the end of 2015. When I arrive, these are activities that will absolutely be included in my plans. A gondola ride in Venice. It's the most popular thing to do there and I love the idea of being guided through a canal on a boat with my friends, wine drunk and decked out in our carnival masks. A epic night in Ibiza. Someone once told me "If you want to do something, go to the city where they're best at doing it." In this case, that something is having a good time. What better place than Ibiza to dance all day and night and enjoy paradise. Cycling in Copenhagen. Denmark is the happiest country in the world. Literally on a scale of great vibes Denmark is at the top. You will definitely find me in Copenhagen, living as the Danes do.

How to Maintain Your Kick Ass Style: Best Rihanna moments in 2015

Rihanna has a great team of stylists. Out of all her brilliant looks this year, these three are my personal favorites. Starting with her cover for french publication, Lui magazine. I love this theme. It reminds me of growing up in Atlanta in the 1990's. Bucket hats, braids, even her long nails inspire a certain nostalgia. This second look is also classic. Several famous portraits come to my mind, Frida Kahlo, Danny Zuko, Sting in Brighton Beach and her jewelry is the icing on the cake! I appreciate this last image because It's very feminine. She appears graceful, perfect for the first black women ever to be the face of Dior. Her orange hair is modern and different from any other look she's fluanted. Los Encinos State Historic Park

I was so impressed to find such rich history preserved locally here in Los Angeles. Los Encinos State Park, now fenced in by a quite residential neighborhood, was once a 5,000 acre ranch that centered  the local economy. After taking a self guided tour, you start to picture what life was like in Los Angeles between the 1800's-1900's. On site, there's an Adobe building that was over the years home to 6 different families. Learning about each family, their lifestyles at the times they resided on the ranch and seeing their actual relics was fascinating. Outside of this Adobe house, my sister Khloe and I spent most of our time feeding Geese by this beautiful pond on site. Interestingly this pond is actually filled by a natural spring.

I love this Place! It is home to the second largest Cuban population in America, so the culture is amazing. Miami is sexy and inviting. From it's beaches, to it's dinning and night life. Each year the city hosts a few epic events. My favorite is Art Basel, which happens during fall. This week it's Miami Swim Week. Whats your go-to swimwear brand?

I would have been late to my event but Nail Bar & Beauty Lounge accommodated by opening an hour early. Their service is Incredible. They Do hair also! My makeup and nails were done all at once by Samelia Miller and My two nail techs @highonlaxquer @carolj08 who were so cool and professional. I had so much fun with them. Pillbox Hike Oahu

You may not be there yet but you're closer than you were yesterday. Reflect, relax, refocus. A quintessential Sunday experience at Pillbox hike. I climbed this peak solo. The view here is the best. I enjoyed it all, the two block walk to the beach from the base of the mountain, walking through one of Kailua's coolest neighborhoods and the sight of beautiful Lanikai at both elevations.

Cruising around Honolulu today. It's tradition to be given a lei by loved ones when you arrive on the island. Instead of  a common floral lei this one is made of polished white stones, more commonly given among locals. Lenni at Alamo continuously blesses me, much aloha for this upgraded car. Got a bit lost while in route to the Ala Moana Shopping center and ended up on this beautiful beach in Waimanalo. It was the Chow down shrimp truck that actually caught my attention. Yum!

Flower Curtain DIY

Decorating my new room on my own! I Started off this project by laying out all of my materials. Pink Roses,White Flowers, Wood rods, First I put down some newspaper to protect my floors, then I painted each wooden rod silver. I laid flowers strung together across my white rug which looks similar to what the flower curtain will look like against my wall. Normally one wouldn't wear all white to do a DIY project but my alter ego thinks its just fine. The final poduct is brilliant.
